چکیده
This paper presents a hybrid manufacturing process for the preparation of complex cavity structure parts with high surface quality. Firstly, laser precision packaging technology is utilized to accurately connect thin plate substrate microchannel. Secondly, Direct Metal Laser-Sintering (DMLS) completely shape part. The morphology and microstructure encapsulated specimens DMLS molded were investigated. results show that can form good metallurgical bond. lowest roughness was 1.18 μm. perpendicularity between top microchannel side wall optimal when power 240 W. Consequently, effectively solves problems poor quality powder sticking closed inner cavities. method eliminates defects adhesive in microchannel, improves finish, problem mechanical tools cannot be processed inside which lays foundation research high-quality process.

Laser Additive Manufacturing Process Planning and Automation
This paper presents a Laser Additive Manufacturing Process Planning (LAMPP) being developed at the University of Missouri-Rolla. The off-line planning recognizes difficult-to-build features from an STL file, selects optimal part orientation and building directions based on the skeleton information of the object geometry, and optimizes the sub-process sequences for deposition and machining. Duri...
متن کاملLaser and Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing Methods of Fabricating Titanium Bone Implants
Additive Manufacturing (AM) methods are generally used to produce an early sample or near net-shape elements based on three-dimensional geometrical modules. To date, publications on AM of metal implants have mainly focused on knee and hip replacements or bone scaffolds for tissue engineering. The direct fabrication of metallic implants can be achieved by methods, such as Selective Laser Melting...
متن کاملFabricating Superior NiAl Bronze Components through Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing
Cast nickel aluminum bronze (NAB) alloy is widely used for large engineering components in marine applications due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Casting porosity, as well as coarse microstructure, however, are accompanied by a decrease in mechanical properties of cast NAB components. Although heat treatment, friction stir processing, and fusion welding were im...
متن کاملAdditive Manufacturing: A Novel Method for Fabricating Cobalt-Chromium Removable Partial Denture Frameworks.
Additive manufacturing (AM) often referred to as 3D printing (3DP) has shown promise of being significantly viable in the construction of cobalt-chromium removable partial denture (RPD) frameworks. The current paper seeks to discuss AM technologies (photopolymerization processes and selective laser melting) and review their scope. The review also discusses the clinical relevance of cobalt-chrom...
